Bridal Makeup

For the most important and memorable day of any bride, it is important that they have the desired make-over on their wedding day, which when looking back at the wedding photographs years later, will reflect fond and happy memories. From natural to glamorous, I can create any look and will leave you looking like a princess on your big day.

THE TRIAL

Ideally four months before the wedding, a trial is essential for you and for me. For you, it’s the chance for you to ensure that the look is what you are looking for. For me, its the length of time required to finish it that I need to establish, as the yardstick for me to work on when the big day comes. Both timing and look, will ensure you have a perfect big day!

A trial can last as long as necessary but  I would normally need about one and a half hours at the most. I will bring you through the color themes and the type of makeup look to match your wedding dresses. You are welcome to put on your wedding dress (or at least something that look similar to it in terms of colour, specially). This is the time both of us can reach to an agreement on the desired look you are looking for.

The trial is held at a location of your choice. However, it is important that it takes place during daylight hours as it is not always possible to establish the correct colour of foundation under artificial light.

Photographs are taken before and after the makeup application – this not only enables me to build my portfolio but will actually help to reproduce that look you want exactly on your special day.

*Please note that by this trial day you should be able to let me know how many additional family members would like to have their makeup done on your big day.

Do re-confirm it a few days before the big day.

ON THE DAY

On the day itself, I will ensure that I arrive early so that I have plenty of time to carry out my work. The make-up is best applied at the venue where you will be dressing up. Any additional family members will have their turn after.

I would advise you to wear your dress before the makeup application as I will put a makeup apron over your dress to ensure no dirt will ruin it.

If possible a quiet peaceful area away from all the stress is ideal to make sure it’s a full relaxing experience.

Any request for me to stay into the evening to help with any touching up for wedding photos, etc., will be an added cost on per hour basis. (Click on Price List above)

PAYMENT

At your trial 50% of your total wedding day makeup cost is required as part of payment and deposit for your wedding day makeup – this is non-refundable. This is to secure your booking and hold your day. The outstanding amount is payable 14 days before the wedding day. Taking care of payment in advance makes my visit more relaxed and one less thing for you to organize on the day.

All prices are subject to booking date and prior to agreement.
