WHY USE YANI AS A MAKEUP ARTIST?
My website speaks for itself. Apart from formal trainings attended in London and Singapore , my clients range from university students who want a bit of make up on their graduation days to local banks’ functions and of course, weddings.
WHEN AND WHERE SHOULD I HAVE A MAKEUP TRIAL?
The trial itself takes place at a location of your choice, preferably during the day as it is not possible to establish the correct colour foundation under artificial light. The trial usually lasts about 1½ hrs.
SHOULD I BRING PICTURES TO A WEDDING MAKEUP TRIAL?
Yes. Pictures are always useful to see what makeup colours & style you prefer.
HOW FAR AHEAD SHOULD YOU BOOK YOUR WEDDING MAKEUP ARTIST?
There’s no limit to how early..it’s how late that can be a problem! I always say that to avoid disappointment, the earlier the better. Some of my bridal clients confidently book their wedding date before they even had their consultation. Whether you want to do it like this is entirely up to you.
Advisably, make your booking for your wedding makeup 6 months in advance or at least make an inquiry. Either way, your wedding date is secured in my diary on receipt of 50%.
WHEN SHOULD I MAKE MY WEDDING MAKEUP DEPOSIT?
I prefer after the makeup trial consultation. This way you can decide carefully whether you still want me as your makeup artist or go for someone else.
Once you deposit, it is non-refundable and this is secured in my diary and hold your day.
WHEN DO YOU REQUIRE THE REMAINING BALANCE TO BE SETTLED?
For weddings, the remaining balance is payable 14 days before the big day. Taking care of payment makes my visit more relaxed and one less thing for you to organize on the day.
IS YANI ALSO A HAIRSTYLIST?
Only make-up services are provided. Hair–styling is not included. However if required, I can bring along a colleague who is a hairstylist. The price will be separate from this service.
DOES YANI PROVIDE PAKAIAN BRUNEI SERVICES?
This service is not yet provided.
WHAT DO I WANT ONCE I ARRIVE AT THE WEDDING VENUE?
Once I arrive, I would like to start the make-up application right away. I very much prefer & advice you to do everything you have to do (e.g eat or use the restroom) before your make-up session starts. Managing time is very important to me.
DO YOU STAY BY THE END OF THE FUNCTION?
Requests for this will be an added cost per hour basis. Click on price list above.
WHAT ARE THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF A GROUP BOOKING/ADDITIONAL PER PERSON IN WEDDING FOR MAKE-UP?
I can manage no more than 6 people. Large numbers may require an earlier start however that would be discussed prior to the day.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY BOOKING?
If you need to cancel for any reason, please let me know as soon as possible so that I can inform other brides their date has become available. Any deposits paid are non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
I’VE GOT SENSITIVE SKIN, CAN YOU STILL DO MY MAKEUP?
Yes, but do inform me of all sensitivities/allergies before the trial commences so I can accomodate any problems. If you have any severe allergies, you must make me aware of these prior to the consultation date.
