I had pitutan (eyelid lump) on the day of my Berbedak-bedak Mandi, but she managed it cover it up and the guests didn’t even know I had one! Amazing!

“I came across Yani’s page from a recommendation by a friend. I booked for a make-up trial straight away and never looked back since. What I love about her make-up is the fact that she uses a blend of different varieties and does not stick to one particular brand. She also has an excellent eye for finding the perfect combination for my skin tone. Being a make-up virgin, I didn’t know blush from mascara. Yani talked me through it so I understood what was going on, and what was about to happen.

Her make-up stays on longer and it didn’t feel heavy (which was important for me). I was so happy that after the whole make-up process, I still looked like me. My face didn’t change and I just glowed. Needless to say, every picture for every function she covered looked amazing.

I was impressed that she was every bit the professional the minute she sits you down to begin the make-up. She cleans her hands first before touching your face, or her equipment; spreads out her make-up kit so she does not have to rumble in her awesome bag of goodies to look for things; manages and organizes her time well so the function was not disturbed. I also loved the fact that Yani cleans her brushes regularly so I was not worried about what would happen to my face after the make-up was removed. I had no break-outs, no rashes or itching post make-up.

Although she is much younger than all the other make-up artists out there and appears to not have a lot of years in experience under her belt, her attention to detail more than makes up for it. Just make sure you have the patience- and a good cushion under your bum while she makes you up. She is meticulous and a perfectionist- an artist. She takes her time but believe me, the end result is absolutely worth it.”
